November is National Senior Pet Month, Pet Cancer Awareness Month and adopt A Senior Pet month, and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association has announced tips for taking care of senior cats and dogs.
Determine your cat’s age status. Heidi Lobprise, DVM, DAVDC, senior technical manager of Virbac Animal Health in Fort Worth, says nearly 39% of dogs and 45% of cats in the United States are in the "senior" category.

The world is moving to a different direction by ensuring that everything is attached with technology. And for dog training, there is nothing less to technology. Electronic collars have been developed to enhance dog training by exerting electron shocks that will act as simulation. The device has come with lots of advantages and also disadvantages in some areas have been experienced.
Author's Note: With this article I'm trying to express the main positives and negatives of electronic collars. It's not my goal to convince the reader that E-Collars are good or bad for dog training, I'm just seeking to report these concepts impartially.

Scottish-Malaysian writer and cartoonist, Sam Hepburn, will be introducing her first picture book to the public at an official launch on December 11th from 2-4pm at The Annexe Gallery in Kuala Lumpur. How many times have you told your groomer that you brush your dog all the time, only to find his coat is still matted? The problem is that you may not be brushing effectively.
First, teach your dog to lie on his side for grooming. Brush in layers starting at the feet and belly and work up toward the spine.
